I have been trying to get a meditation practice going in my life for the last 20 years. I came to a retreat with Mana at Open Mind three and a half months ago. Because of the work we did together then, I have almost not missed a day since then. It’s wonderful!

I think this retreat would be beneficial for anyone who tried it, especially for people I know who live within my culture and society, where I see a lot of emphasis placed on material and gain, and possibly not enough attention given to the spiritual and personal reflection…. And compassion to all beings.

I would highly recommend a retreat for mindful meditation at Open Mind Centre.

I feel the guided meditations helped me immensely with my sense of self – gave me an initial sense of knowing myself better and to appreciate my body as the fantastic tool that it is, not only physically, but emotionally as well.

Solo meditation – with prior teaching and guidance by Mana – helped me greatly – I feel I can now be happy in my own company.

After meditation, our discussions with Mana were very well directed. Mana has a great skill in helping you grasp concepts and helping you reach desired outcomes, sometimes by helping you find answers to your own questions in your own way. Read more
