We meet usually twice a day for classes with practical exercises and plenty of time for your questions. The rest of the day is for you to put into practice what we have discussed in class, in line with your own energy levels and motivation. We encourage simplicity and some commitment to your practice, but just how you set about your daily timetable is very much up to you. Over time, we have found the skills you will develop in in this approach will help you integrate depth meditation work into the rest of your life.
Open Mind Centre is a supportive, beautiful environment by the river. We have good vegetarian food, mountain views and natural hot spring water baths. You we welcome to arrive a day or more before your retreat begins to enjoy some quiet time in nature, and maybe prepare yourself for your retreat.
We suggest you stay for the full 5 days. Minimum registration 3 days. You are welcome to stay for a longer retreat after the scheduled retreat time.
If you have the time, we recommend you come a day or more earlier to settle in and prepare for your retreat. Please book your accommodation.
